Chris Woods

Our Founder & President

Chris founded Advantage Insurance in 1992 and has served as its President ever since. In his 30+ years in the insurance business, Chris has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, his MBA in Business Administration, and has sat on various boards and committees including Northeast Delta Dental’s Customer Advisory Board. Chris is very active in his community, formally serving as a member of Merrimack’s Economic Development Citizen Advisory Committee, and is currently Chairman of the Board for the New England Parkinson’s Ride. In his free time, there is nothing more special to Chris than spending time his wife, Terry, their three kids, Sean, Taylor, and Cooper, and their adorable granddaughter Amelia.

Chris loves  to build anything with wood, whether that’s a custom closet for his wife, or an entire house with his wife. If asked what event in his life truly changed him, he will tell you about the month he spent in New Orleans just after Hurricane Katrina devastated the area. There were no politics, no racial differences, no socio-economic differences, just people helping people, the way it should always be.
